I believe all of us have received emails about how we should know our mobile phone IMEI number. I have actually received that email on numerous occasions.

What happened was...recently I lost my mobile phone. So it came to my mind that I could prevent the person who got my phone from using it. So I search high and low for my mobile phone box for the IMEI number. Nope...I didn't jot it down or anything. Then I contacted my mobile operator saying that I would like to block my phone from being used and I have my IMEI number in hand.

And what does the customer service officer told? "I'm sorry, but this service is currently not available in Malaysia." What the....

I was speechless...so whatever you get in your email pertaining to such stuff, it might not work in available in Malaysia cause we're so behind in services.

Sigh...there goes my beloved phone. :(

New Direction

Gosh...I last updated my blog in April!! How long ago was that??

Anyway, I'm all geared up to update my blog more frequently now. However, my blog is taking a new direction. I'm trying to sharpen my skill at writing reviews on gadgets and new/upcoming technology. So this blog will be my starting point. :)

I'll still be writing personal posts. So it's going to be a mixture of posts until I decide to separate it both.

Comedy Club Thursday

On July 2nd, I attended my first stand up comedy performance organized by Time Out Magazine. I didn't really know what to expect. Will it be like those performances by Russell Peters or Jeff Dunham or Jerry Seinfeld but on a smaller scale?

So with all these curiosity, I went for the event. It was suppose to start at 8.30pm, but of course, we're living in Malaysia. We have to abide the Malaysian timing. It got delayed till around 9.15pm. But when it started, it was good.

There were 6 performers that night with 1 being an amateur. There were a few REALLY good ones. It was as good as those stand-up comedies that I watch on YouTube. What can I say, I was impressed. It definitely will not be be my last. Planning to attend the next Comedy Club Thursday on August 6.

There's a special one happening on July 23 and 24. They're having a comedian from Vietnam, one from Australia and our very own Douglas Lim. Still contemplating whether to go. Should or shouldn't I? Hhmmm...

Reviving A Dead Blog

I've finally revived my blog. After such a long time too. Wondering how many people even read my blog to begin with. Haha.

Anyways, today has been a pretty interesting day. Went for the Cleo's 50 Most Eligible Bachelors event. My friend thought it was a meet the fans event. But it turned out to be a speed dating thing. Initially I only went cause a couple of my friends were going to support 2 people they know.

However, a friend of mine saw that they were giving out some freebies but you need to register to get it. So she thought," Oh...I can get free stuff by register. Ok la. Just register for it. No harm." So she dragged me and another friend to sign up. After that we found out that we actually registered for the speed dating thing. I nearly fainted. Lol. That was like the last thing on my mind. So I wanted to run away, but all the participants were divided into groups and ours was the smallest. Damnit. So had to fall through with it la. Thick skin mode and try to be extra casual. So went in. Got to talk to 2 bachelors, 2 minutes each. Almost like the longest 4 minutes of my life. Hahaha.

But it was nice. I guess. Something that's different. Again...don't think I'll EVER go for a speed dating event la. Too weird for me to handle. Haha.

After that, went to watch Talentime. Another Yasmin Ahmad movie. It was good. It touches some of the same issues that was in Sepet. It was another great work by Yasmin Ahmad.

And now after a long day...I think I wanna sleep. My bed is calling out to me now...ta!

Up And Down Goes The Market

Every day there's just more bad news about the market.

Everything is so volatile.

Its scary. Will I be working tomorrow? Will they have fired me then?

Hhhmm...but come to think of it, I think I do have some use. Thank god for being chosen to take care of a certain process. Else...I might the next person sitting by the road side with a bowl. Lol. :p

Anyways, work is still as crazy as ever. Busy busy busy. Trying to be lazy whenever I could. Lol.

Ok...enough ranting for today.

1 more month to go before Project Finance will be underway. ^_^

Friday is FINALLY here.

2 days away from work is short but its definitely better than nothing.

Gonna fully utilize it. How? I don't know yet. Haha. Hopefully it'll be a relaxing and fun weekend. :)

The systems I work with is seriously STUPID.

EVERY time I fix a problem, another problem pops up! Its like a never ending story!

Its freaking irritating and its taking up my time cause I have to spend time on it when I could use it to do my production work.

Wow...looks like the beginning to my new blog isn't very good. I haven't updated for some time now. 4 days actually. Haha. Is that a big deal? Don't know.

Anyways, work has been crazy as always. But I'm sooo sick of having so much shit to do! Why must there be sooo much problems?? Why can't things be...normal for a bit? I feel irregardless of how many hours I sleep or rest, I can't seem to replenish my energy. It's just getting sapped away as soon as its restored.

Maybe I should see a shrink. Hopefully he/she can diagnose that I'm under stress. Maybe can get MC for a period of time. Can shrinks give MCs? If they do, do their MCs work? I wonder....

New Home?

I've been wanting to create a new blog to signify a new beginning. Was interested to create in Wordpress, but its soooo difficult!

I can't seem to view ANY of the themes I chosed! I have NO idea what went wrong. Anyways, being too lazy to troubleshoot since I'm sooo tired from work, just decided to stick to Blogger. Blogger rocks!! Hahaha.

Anyways, this is my new home from now on.
